I have previously worked at a dental practise for several years and I am now transferring these skills to help my canine clients

Using an ultrasound toothbrush to soften any tartar before gently removing it and cleaning off staining. Some dogs will need more than one session to clean the teeth throughly.

An assessment will be done on the first treatment and any on-going sessions will be discussed at the time.

The first session is 30 minutes and includes the toothbrush which is kept for your dog's use and lasts approximately 20 sessions before it needs replacing

Subsequent session are usually 20 minutes in duration

This teeth cleaning system is safe and can be performed on a regular basis if needed. It is a preventative treatment and can save having to have expensive veterinary treatment when the dog has to have a general anaesthetic

Regular cleaning is the most important means to preventing dental diseases. This is not an easy job for owners. By using the motionless toothbrush no brushing is needed as the brush has ultrawaves with a maximum of 96 million oscillations per minute. Cleaning gums up to 12 mm deep and kills bacteria.

With the newly developed ultrasonic toothbrush we can effectively clean the teeth and remove tartar. Reduces mouth odour and is a preventive treatment to keep tartar and gum disease from forming.

This service is not possible on dogs with severe gum disease or tooth decay. Such cases will be referred to the vets. Health teeth and gums can be cleaned using this gentle cleaning method

Terms and Conditions
1. Only non aggressive dogs will be admitted for this service
2. Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. If not the fee will still apply for the time booked
3. Treatment is a cleaning and tartar removal method using the ultrasonic toothbrush. Only health teeth can be treated using this method. Other conditions will be referred to a vet
4. If any problems occurs after the service and the owner believes it has happened due to the service. The dog must visit a vet within 24 hrs and we need to be informed immediately
5. No dog with fleas can attend the salon, please advise us of any signs of fleas and reschedule
6. If the dog becomes overly stress or upset during the service, the process will cease immediately and the owner called to collect the dog. The fee will still apply

Process
On the first visit to the salon your dog will have a basic assessment and details taken. You will be assigned the toothbrush which will only be used on your dog. Next the pet will have an examination of the teeth to assess any issues or loose teeth. If the gums and teeth are healthy enough to continue with the cleaning service

The toothbrush and the paste are used to soften the tartar enough for easy removal

Both sides and the rear teeth are cleaned using this process

The treatment usually takes 30 minutes

Depending on the amount of tartar the pet may need more than one visit

It is recommended that this service is a preventative treatment and several visits per year are needed to keep the teeth clean and gums health

We recommend treatments every 3 to 6 months after the initial cleaning process - this is is a non-invasive treatment and could be performed weekly as it's very gentle
